Leadership Camp

On Thursday last week, our Whānau Prefects (40 students) took part in the first phase of our 2025 Leadership Camp by attending a ‘Leadership Conference’ held at school. Working in their Prefect Councils, they completed team-building challenges and began planning the social actions they hope to undertake this year. We are really excited about what they are developing and look forward to sharing their plans with the wider school community soon.

That evening, our leaders stayed overnight at school and participated in a ‘My Kitchen Rules’ challenge. They worked to a budget, created themed restaurants, and cooked two courses to serve their council and visiting leaders from Howick College. The creations were outstanding, and the restaurants were fun, creative, and full of personality. After plenty of dishes were done, they settled in for a movie night in the Gym. It was a wonderful day and evening.

We look forward to the second part of our Leadership Camp later this term.
