We are a well-resourced, innovative and dynamic school located in beautiful East Auckland. We provide an holistic and trans-disciplinary curriculum for our 11 – 13 year old students who thrive in a positive, inclusive and diverse learning environment. We have a strong values programme and foster a culture of kindness.

We require a highly effective, motivated and collaborative Science Specialist teacher who will be working in well-resourced science facilities. You would be working closely with a second Specialist Science teacher.

A good knowledge of the Science curriculum and the ability to make connections with other learning areas are essential. An understanding of the Nature of Science and the ability to develop scientifically literate students by developing science capabilities is a prerequisite. A passion for leading students through the Science Fair process would be an advantage.  

Positive classroom management, cultural competence and contribution to the corporate life of the school are essential.
