Underdog Basketball League

SIS TITANS

After a term of hard work, dedication, and teamwork, the boys enjoyed a highly successful season, earning a place in the Championship Final in the Underdog Basketball League. Throughout the competition, they represented Somerville Intermediate with outstanding effort, determination, and sportsmanship. The final was an exciting match against BBI Bears, with the SIS Titans delivering an excellent performance to secure a convincing victory. Congratulations to the team on becoming the Term 2 Challenger Grade Champions.  A huge thank you to Rick Wang and Haukai Guo for their support and coaching throughout the season.

SIS HEAT

Our Year 7 boys competed in the Developers Grade of the Underdog League and enjoyed an outstanding season. Throughout the term, the team showed significant growth in both their confidence and teamwork, while consistently demonstrating excellent sportsmanship and representing Somerville Intermediate with pride.

Their hard work and commitment earned them a place in the 3rd/4th playoff against BBI. In what was an exciting and closely contested match, the boys gave their all and were rewarded with a strong finish, securing 3rd place overall. Congratulations to the team on a fantastic season and their continued development throughout the competition. A huge thank you to Prem Krishna for his coaching and the parents for their continued support.
