SEZ U55kg Rugby League

Congratulations to the Somerville Intermediate U55kg Rugby League team, who competed at the South Eastern Zone Rugby League Tournament at Ngāti Ōtara Park on Wednesday 19 August.

With limited schools competing in our grade, the team played three games against Farm Cove Intermediate and came away with three fantastic wins: 25–10, 15–5 and 20–10.

A huge thank you to all our parent supporters, especially the mums who helped transport the boys to and from the tournament. Your support is greatly appreciated.

The team will now look forward to representing Somerville Intermediate at the Auckland Championships at Bruce Pullman Park on 22 September.

Well done, boys, on an outstanding effort.
