SEZ Netball

On Friday 7 August, our Somerville students travelled to Auckland Netball Centre to compete in the South Eastern Zone Netball Tournament. With beautiful weather and fantastic competition from schools across Auckland, our students had an awesome day on the court. They showed great teamwork, determination, sportsmanship and commitment throughout their games. 

A huge congratulations to all of our teams:

Year 7A Girls – 7th in A Division
Year 7B Girls – 2nd in B Division
Year 7 Boys –   5th
Year 8A Girls –  5th in A Division
Year 8B Girls –  2nd in B Division
Year 8 Boys –    4th

We are incredibly proud of all our netball teams and players. They have made so much progress throughout the season, and it was fantastic to see them challenge themselves, show determination and continue to develop through some tough and competitive games.

Our teams played some fantastic netball, supported one another and represented Somerville with pride. A special thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible, including our coaches, staff, parent helpers, past pupils and whānau.

Well done to all our netball players! You should be incredibly proud of your achievements, hard work and the progress you have made throughout the season.
