SEZ Badminton

On Tuesday 2 June, Somerville Intermediate School attended the SEZ Badminton competition held at Lloyd Elsmore, Pakuranga.

The 8 students from both Years 7 and 8 representing Somerville were: Young X, Mason H, Casey L, Alina L, Jenny L, Park-Hin C, Aisha K, Emma W.

At the end of the day, Somerville came away with first place in the girls’ singles, thanks to the efforts of Alina, first place in the girls’ doubles for Aisha and Emma, second place in the girls’ singles for Jenny, second place in the boys’ singles for Casey, second place for boys’ doubles, for Park-Hin and Mason.

Our students were great ambassadors for both our school and the game of badminton, and we are proud of you all.
