Year 8 Boys

The Year 8 boys competed in the Auckland Softball Championship Tournament held at North Harbour Softball Stadium on 18 March. The team faced strong competition throughout the day. In their opening game against Kedgley Intermediate, they came up against powerful hitters and were defeated. Their second match against a highly skilled and well-drilled Te Atatū side also resulted in a loss.

In their third game against Huapai, the boys showed great determination in a tightly contested match, but were narrowly defeated. They bounced back strongly in their fourth game against Randwick Park, securing a convincing win.

In their final match, playing for 5th or 6th place, they battled hard in a close contest but were unfortunately defeated.

Throughout the tournament, the team demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and resilience. A big thank you to Mrs Coleman and Mrs Singh for their help and support.
