STEAM/Innovations Science Fair Results

The STEAM Innovations/Science Fair offers a fantastic opportunity for Somerville Intermediate students to grow and develop as budding scientists.

Congratulations to all the students who submitted a project this year. Your hard work, dedication, and time investment are truly commendable – you should all be incredibly proud of your efforts!

The standard of entries this year has been admirable. A big thank you to every student for your effort and creativity – great work all round!

A special congratulations to the students named below, and sincere thanks to the parents and teachers who supported them every step of the way.

Mrs McKenzie, Ms van As, and Mrs Duffield are currently interviewing these students to ensure their projects are ready for competition. After these evaluations, they will determine which entries will go forward to the NIWA South and East Auckland STEM Fair, taking place at Howick College on 22 August. We wish all our students the very best for their interviews and the judging process.
