School Cross Country

Earlier this week, Somerville hosted its annual School Cross Country event. The weather remained overcast, making it a perfect day for a run. The event kicked off with the Year 8 girls' race, followed by the Year 8 boys. The day wrapped up with the Year 7 girls and boys taking to the course.

A huge thank you to our fantastic parent timekeepers and marshalls, for volunteering their time. Your support was very much appreciated!

Congratulations to all our Somerville students who took on the 3km cross country challenge. All races were keenly contested, with some impressive finishing times. We are incredibly proud of your efforts and determination — well done!

The top 10 place getters for the day will be competing at the South Eastern Zone Cross Country race next term.
