SEZ Netball

On Friday 1 August, five of our school netball teams competed in the SEZ Netball Tournament—and what an incredible day it was! We had teams in the Year 8 A & B, Year 7 A & B, and Mixed Boys divisions, with all players demonstrating outstanding skill, sportsmanship, and teamwork across 5–6 games throughout the day.

We’re proud to share some fantastic results:

Year 8B and Year 7A both placed 1st overall in their divisions.

Year 7B placed 2nd overall and will now progress to the Auckland Champs.

Mixed Boys team finished a strong 3rd overall.

Year 8A placed 7th, playing with determination and resilience throughout.

A huge thank you to all the parents who helped with transport and to those who took time out of their day to come along and support us—it was greatly appreciated. We’d also like to acknowledge the fabulous umpires from Macleans College, who supported the smooth running of the day.

It was a day full of energy, encouragement, and school pride—we couldn’t be prouder of our players.
