SEZ Orienteering
The final SEZ event for Term 1 saw 16 of our students proudly represent Somerville Intermediate at the Orienteering competition, hosted by Counties Manukau Orienteering Club on Tuesday 31 March at Lloyd Elsmore Park.
Our students competed across three Somerville teams, in challenging windy and overcast conditions. Despite the weather, spirits were high and the competition produced some exciting finishes, with students demonstrating excellent navigation skills, teamwork, and determination throughout the course.
It was fantastic to see our students applying their orienteering knowledge in a competitive environment and supporting one another along the way. Their behaviour and sportsmanship were commendable, and they represented the school with pride. Final results will be shared once they are confirmed.
Well done to all students involved in a great way to wrap up the SEZ sporting calendar for Term 1!
