Weetbix Tryathlon
Our school supports students entering the Weetbix Kids Tryathlon.
We have registered as a school and if you would like to enter your child into this event, which will be held on Tuesday 24 November, 10.00 am at Mountford Park, Manurewa, you are encouraged to join our school group.

The race is open to all students aged 6-15.
6 year olds do a 50m swim / 1.5km run
7 year olds do a 50m swim / 4km cycle / 1.5km run
8 – 10 year olds do a 75 – 100m swim / 4km cycle / 1.5km run
11 – 15 year olds do a 150 – 200m swim / 8km cycle / 1.5 km run

There is a cost to participate. Please note our school has opted out of the school courier option, so getting the tryathlete pack will also be your responsibility.
Please be aware that this is not a school organised event, but it does have the backing of the school. Mrs Amy Hillerby has offered to be the parent liaison on the day.
Because this is not a school event, it is imperative that any child registered must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian, aged over 18, for the whole day. We will not be responsible for any child that is left at the venue without a supporting adult.
Amy will set up a school site as a base, and she will coordinate a photo of all the school participants.
Having a go at this event is always a very rewarding experience for all participants. Check your schedules, see if you can support your child on the day and then register. Your child will love the experience!
