Year 7 Camps

Motutapu Island

A highlight for our Year 7 students every year is the camp on beautiful Motutapu Island, where students will participate in many exciting and challenging activities.

A letter, with informed consent slip and parent help request, was sent home with your child on Tuesday 3 February.

It is imperative that we confirm student participation as soon as possible. Please sign and return the informed consent slip and parent help request, included with the letter, by Friday 20 February

Please click here to download a copy of the letter and the Camp Information slideshow from last week's parent/whānau partnership evening.

The Year 7 camp is an extracurricular activity and the cost for each student to attend is $525.00. This can paid via Kindo, together with informed consent. A $50 deposit is required when providing informed consent.

The final day to confirm your child's participation, and parent interest in the camp, is Friday 20 February. Payment options that include paying the camp off over time can be discussed and organised with Chris Hall (Rangitoto and Kawarau Whānau) or Steph Ready (Aoraki and Ruapehu Whānau), prior to this date.

By Friday 27 February 50% of the balance, ie $237.50, is required. Payment in full is required no later than Friday
6 March.

There will be a further meeting for those confirmed parents attending camp on Wednesday 4 March from 6.30 - 7.30 pm. It is imperative that all those parents/caregivers accompanying us to camp, attend this meeting.

As part of Health & Safety requirements, all parents attending camp are police vetted. If you have expressed an interest in attending camp, please return your vetting form, along with two forms of ID (one must be a photo ID), as soon as possible. There is usually a 3-4 week processing period after the form has been submitted online.

An equipment list for camp will be sent home with your child shortly and is also available on our website.

Saxer Design

Hello and Kia ora, I’m the founder of Saxer Design – a small, experienced team based in New Zealand. My focus is on understanding your business goals and turning your ideas into a website that not only looks great but speaks clearly to your audience.

I craft visually striking, authentic websites that help grow your business or organisation. With over 25 years of experience across different cultures and industries, I bring a thoughtful mix of design, branding, and marketing expertise.

About 6 years ago, I switched from developing open-source websites to Squarespace and never looked back. My clients love it and can still optimise the sites with code and CSS.

Whether you're a business wanting to build stronger community connections, or a school or organisation looking to sharpen your message and boost your impact, I’m here to help you communicate with confidence and clarity.
