Science/STEAM Innovations Fair

Students completing Science/STEAM Innovations Fair projects should ensure they are on track and continue to use the Guide to the Fair booklet provided. Please remember to check Google Classroom for updates, access to presentations, and key dates.

Students have been encouraged to meet regularly with their classroom teachers to stay on track. If they encounter any issues, they are welcome to see Mrs McKenzie, Ms van As, or Mrs Duffield during lunchtime. Mr Stonex, Ms Fowlds, and Ms Kettle have also been available to support students following the Engineering Design Process.

Reminder: All projects are due on Tuesday 15th July (Term 3, Week 1). Projects will be displayed for judging in the Gym on the mezzanine floor (second level).
Judges will select which projects will go forward to represent our school at the NIWA South and East Auckland STEM and Technology Fair, held on Friday 22nd August at Howick College.


Important Dates – 2025

Registrations open: Friday 1st August
Registrations close: 2:00 pm, Wednesday 20th August
Deliver and set up projects: 3:40 pm – 7:00 pm, Thursday 21st August (Howick College)
Judging: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, Friday 22nd August (Howick College)
Project collection: 3:40 pm – 7:00 pm, Friday 22nd August
Prizegiving: Thursday 28th August - 7:00 pm, at Mission Heights Junior College
