Colour Rush is coming …

The whole school will have the opportunity to take part in Somerville's Colour Rush on Thursday 20 November. This is a special fun event for students for the end of the year. The cost for participation is $12 per student, which can be paid via Kindo.
The final day for payment and to secure your child's participation in this event is Friday 14 November.
Colour Rush is a fun run with pizzazz! Students run around a marked course on the field, passing through water stations, powder stations, and an obstacle course. At certain points along the route they will be bombarded with water and coloured powder. By the time they cross the finish line, they will be every colour of the rainbow!
On the day of the event, students must bring a white T-shirt (to show all the colours), 'old' shorts and an 'old' towel in a separate bag. These are the clothes they will wear for the Colour Rush and the towel will be used for cleaning up at the end of the event. They will need to rinse off when they get home. Students may like to keep the T-shirt afterwards as a memento of this fun day.
Further details will be sent home with your child and communicated through emails and newsletters over the coming weeks.
