School Athletics Day

Wednesday 22 October

Weather permitting, our annual School Athletics Day will take place on Wednesday 22 October at Lloyd Elsmore Athletics Club. Detailed information, including the timetable of events, was sent home with your child on Thursday 9 October. This is also displayed below.

Students will travel to the Athletics Club by bus, leaving school at approximately 8.40 am and returning around 2.45 pm.

Students may come to school in their sports uniform. If possible, we encourage them to wear a plain T-shirt in their whānau colour. Footwear must be worn to and from school. It is essential that students bring and wear their school sunhat, as there is very little shade at Lloyd Elsmore. We also recommend sunscreen (applied regularly throughout the day) and a jacket or sweatshirt to put on after events, as it can be quite windy at the park.

To help make this event a success, we are seeking parent support on the day, particularly with timekeeping and officiating. If you are able to assist, please complete the Google Form by scanning the QR code below.

Parents/whānau are also most welcome to come along and support the students on the day.

Please ensure the permission slip at the bottom of the letter sent home with your child is completed and returned to their classroom teacher by Thursday 16th October.

Hello and Kia ora, I’m the founder of Saxer Design – a small, experienced team based in New Zealand. My focus is on understanding your business goals and turning your ideas into a website that not only looks great but speaks clearly to your audience.

I craft visually striking, authentic websites that help grow your business or organisation. With over 25 years of experience across different cultures and industries, I bring a thoughtful mix of design, branding, and marketing expertise.

About 6 years ago, I switched from developing open-source websites to Squarespace and never looked back. My clients love it and can still optimise the sites with code and CSS.

Whether you're a business wanting to build stronger community connections, or a school or organisation looking to sharpen your message and boost your impact, I’m here to help you communicate with confidence and clarity.
