Year 8 EOTC
Surf Experience
All Year 8's will participate in a unique experience as part of their EOTC programme in Term 1. Aotearoa Surf School, based on Orewa, are providing our students with a full day of surf safety, surf lessons, beach games and activities. This programme enables students to develop more confidence and knowledge in the surf and provide important skills to stay safe in New Zealand's waters.
Aotearoa Surf School is a Surfing NZ approved surf school and all surf coaches are 'International Surfing Association' coaches.
The cost per student for this experience is $65.50 per student and must be paid via Kindo by Monday 26 February.
A detailed letter outlining this programme, including permission slip and parent help request, was sent home with the students on 5 February 2024.
