Syndicate Goal

Our goal in Syndicate H is to create a collaborative learning environment for both teachers and students. Students will be encouraged to reach their full potential by challenging themselves through authentic learning contexts and setting high standards as a syndicate. We aim to build shared responsibility for our learning journey by working together, being caring, having compassion and being the best we can be.

ALJ Synopsis

Am I the voice of my generation?

Empowering students to make a difference can bring rewards to both the students and the community at large. Students will learn how to collaborate with adults, present their ideas in constructive ways, and take action so that they can be effective spokespeople for themselves, their peers, their school, and their community.

The students in syndicate H will explore ideas like Does my voice matter? What does it mean to have a voice? and how have groups developed a voice over time? We want them to look at their journey in life to date and then the ways in which they can influence it in the future. Students will realise that they are important members of society, their opinions are important and their voices need to be heard, and ultimately their challenge is to mould a better generation for themselves. They will look at how they can make decisions, voice their opinion and create a sustainable future.
