Friends of Somerville (PTA)

The Friends of Somerville (FOS) meets several times a year and welcomes all parents and caregivers. Meetings are advertised by school newsletter.
The FOS is an active support group focused on meeting the needs of the school and sharing in setting and achieving common school goals.

Objectives

• To provide a link between community and school
  
  
• To provide opportunities for supporters of the school to
  contribute to the day to day operation of the school
  
  
• To foster communication between school and community
  
  
• To provide a source of feedback for board of trustee decision making
  
  
• To raise funds from time to time for use in the school
  
  
• To foster a co-ordinated approach to school development
