Wall of Fame - Fundraiser
Support the 'Wall of Fame' fundraising campaign for the Somerville Multipurpose Gymnasium and our community by donating a tile. Not just any tile, we'll create a tile with a photo and message of your choice on it and add it to our wall of Fame in the Gymnasium. more info

Bring Your Own Devices at Somerville Intermediate School
Principal David Ellery and students proudly show off some brand new iPads that will be used at SIS to support teaching and learning. Syndicate G's Rich Learning Task: Tree Planting on Motuihe Island
Syndicate G students travelled to Motuihe Island and supported DoC in their tree planting programme. Well don students as the 'hands-on' aspect of your learning certainly shone through.

Student Code of Ethic @ SIS.
Syndicate H's Rich Learning Experiences have focused on the development of a Student Code of Ethics. The Somerville Intermediate Student Code of Ethics is designed by students for students and is intended to be a document that has a huge degree of student voice and one which promotes both the values and actions Somerville Intermediate students believe are fundamental and important. It is intended to guide behaviour and support students in the kinds of actions and attitudes that promote both learning and social responsibility. The photo above shows 4 banners that list the values and ethics of Perseverance, Excellence, Respect and Integrity. These banners will be displayed around SIS.
